ABOUT

Since 2016, Toronto trio Redpath Traffic has combined rock, pop, and a dash of punk to tell unique, introspective stories of love, loss, redemption, and change. This eclectic trio proves that starting a band isn’t limited by age, demonstrating that creativity knows no bounds.

Redpath Traffic’s journey into music began when Richard Todd (vocals and guitars) and Mark Fernley (bass) crossed paths in 2016 through a Meetup Rock Band group. Along with drummer Kerem Balci, they initially bonded over their shared love for cover songs, spanning several decades and genres.

However, it wasn’t long before Todd introduced his original compositions to the group, and Redpath Traffic transitioned from a cover band to a band that exclusively played their own music.
