The inspiration for ‘Hill Street’ has its roots in Jayme’s time living in Glasgow, Scotland. He resided alongside a picturesque steep street, aptly named Hill Street. Those daily walks up and down the street, framed by Scotland’s historic ambiance, etched memories that begged to be captured in a song. When Sarah Alysse began composing the music, she channeled those recollections, striving to encapsulate the warmth one feels on a crisp winter morning.
Engulfed in the duality of life’s frigid uncertainties and warm certainties, “Hill Street” is the song that dares to dwell in the delicious tension of human emotion. The song is like a short movie, filled with snow streets, hot cups of cocoa, and hugs.
