Concrete Surgery was formed in Minneapolis, MN in the early 90’s by bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Chris Ezell. He brought in guitarist/bassist/vocalist Paul Ezell and drummer/percussionist/vocalist Paul Anderson to complete the mix. The band started life as an acid jazz project, fusing Jazz, Funk, R&B and Rock into a mix of sound, rhythm and movement. Through years of writing, arranging and performing they took that experience and molded the band into what it is today. A Funk, R&B, World Beat power trio. Concrete Surgery has many musical influences, such as: Earth, Wind and Fire, Toto, Weather Report, the Police and many, many more.
The members of Concrete Surgery have many years of professional experience behind them. From performing with The Penumbra Theater Company, Touring, Contract song writing, Voice over work and hundreds of hours of studio work and live performances with the twin cities top artist. Concrete Surgery strives to bring the very best of their art and talent to the stage each and every performance. Concrete Surgery is currently out supporting their debut album 99% with club and concert date performances, interviews and radio/internet airplay.
