Philadelphia, PA — The Divys release “You Said Things,” just in time to be added to your Summer 2023 playlist.
Philadelphia-based Electronic Rock / New Wave band, The Divys have just released a song that is definitely in keeping with their signature retro-pop sound. “You Said Things” is available on all major streaming platforms, as well as a lyric video featuring a slideshow of the band on YouTube.
“If you’ve ever had a conversation – in person or text – with someone who just knows what to say to get what they want, then you’ll definitely be able to relate,” says Divys lead singer William Rule.
“You Said Things” was written and recorded in the Divys studio, affectionately called “The Laundromat” in downtown Philadelphia. “The mixing board is right next to a washing machine,” laughs guitarist Kliffee Cee. “What else could we name the place?”
“You Said Things” is available now on all major streaming sites including Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, and Pandora.

ABOUT
The Divys – dubbed “The Dynamic Duo” by Robbie Daw for Instinct Magazine – are a Philadelphia-based band made up of William Rule on vocals and keyboards, and Kliffee Cee on guitars and backing vocals. Formed in 2004, they resurrected the sound made famous in the 1980s – New Wave.
