Singer-songwriter Luke Alexander Debuts Genre-Spanning EP a la carte.
Los Angeles, CA — November 13, 2023 — Emerging artist Luke Alexander’s EP a la carte, is set to release digitally on November 17, 2023. The EP is born out of an exploration of resistance, self-discovery, and personal growth.
From Visalia, CA, Luke Alexander embarks on a creative journey to share his artistry with the world. a la carte promises a diverse range of music spanning R&B, EDM, and alternative pop, because hopefully there exists a song to resonate with that you can pick and choose from.
The EP will stream everywhere (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) shortly, marking a significant milestone in Luke’s musical career. Collaborating with producer Jesse Brandt, he recorded in his small and hot Los Angeles apartment closet. “Taste of Reality” introduces a pursuit of a dream through pop, shifting to EDM with “Speed of Sound”, while “Want” leans heavily on R&B influences. “Show Don’t Tell” and “Asentimental” are alternative pop songs that end the collection. Each song explores an aspect of desire: for a dream, for losing yourself to music and dancing, for physical desire, for wanderlust, and for love—unique glimpses into Alexander’s raw emotional world.
“Taste of Reality,” Luke’s debut single, is a reflection of his newfound sense of purpose and the desire to connect with a global audience. Written while stuck in LA traffic, the song delves into the concept of reality and its flavors. Luke’s ethereal vocals and thought-provoking lyrics promise to take listeners on a captivating musical journey.
