Released December 1st, 2023, the duo’s sophomore audiovisual captures the magical realism of love’s fleeting moments through the lens of old school home videos. Through visceral imagery and poetic lyricism, the music video captures that special time when two people feel really close but aren’t sure what comes next. It’s like catching a snowflake—beautiful but fleeting.
The inspiration for ‘Hill Street’ has its roots in Jayme’s time living in Glasgow, Scotland. He resided alongside a picturesque steep street, aptly named Hill Street. Those daily walks up and down the street, framed by Scotland’s historic ambiance, etched memories that begged to be captured in a song. When Sarah Alysse began composing the music, she channelled those recollections, striving to encapsulate the warmth one feels on a crisp winter morning.
Engulfed in the duality of life’s frigid uncertainties and warm certainties, “Hill Street” dares to remind us that love grows when we allow ourselves to accept the uncertainty and enjoy the moment.

In a genre awash with neon beats and hyper-processed loops, Jayme Woj and Sarah Alysse of Maybesoon bring a rare, authentic touch that only a unique collaboration can spawn. Both originating from Columbia College Chicago’s BFA Music Theater Performance program, they began their parallel journeys into the realm of emotive storytelling, crafting auditory experiences that resonate as deeply as they entertain.
