HOUSTON, Texas — Psychedelic R&B artist Nobodyheretonight has released his second single, “Blur ” on Friday, March 26, 2021.
Nobodyheretonight is a 24-year-old independent music artist based in Houston, Texas. His musical style is a blend of psychedelic R&B and alternative hip-hop. Prior to releasing “Blur”, Nobodyheretonight debuted in the Houston music scene with his first single “Super Human” in 2019.
“[Blur] was where I stepped into myself, and where I made my style concrete,” said Nobodyheretonight.
Upon moving to the United States from Pakistan, Nobodyheretonight picked up the guitar in his early teens. His keen interest in music led him to learn how to write and produce his own songs. Through his music, Nobodyheretonight expresses his relationship with love, mortality, substances, and the self-destruction that comes along with them.
“That shadow self that you try to run away from, that self that you hate, you need to start embracing that so you can start changing it,” said Nobodyheretonight.
Nobodyheretonight hopes to connect and engage with the local and online community through his musical projects. Listeners can expect a third single in the coming months. Details are to be announced.
