Raines, a 22 year old electronic music producer from Punta Gorda, Florida has captivated a fast growing audience with his wave inspired music. Oddly enough the creator of chillsynth music “HOME” who created the song “Resonance” also was from Punta Gorda, Raines has been creating music since 2020, but in the summer of 2022 he released the song “Bliss” amassing over 200,000 streams by now. Before 2022 Raines was relatively unknown having very little exposure and a fairly limited discography, but throughout 2022 he released more music such as one track “Cosmic Drift” a song he says was “Inspired by my professor for Cosmology Universe at University of Florida”. The song “Cosmic Drift” has recently been growing rapidly he says thanks to Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” heavily pushing the song to new listeners. Raines says he dabbles in many different genres, but loves to create chill wave music to relax and vibe to, he enjoys the moniker RainesVibes as well because he says it’s like Spanish to English of Rain is Vibes. Raines pushed his music heavily to south and central America to grow and expose his music to a wider audience and has had a great deal of support from those communities. Raines has spent a lot of time pondering the meaning of life and how he can become the best version of himself to inspire others and spread love. He wishes to continue releasing music under the Moniker “Raines” but has ideas for other projects because of his interest and love for other genres. He says his favorite song is “Sweater Weather” and he loves anime. With a great voice he will likely be creating a project in the near future where he may sing and create music where he can express himself more directly with poetic and direct lyrical music.
