Betty Pulls A Fast One have announced the release date of their second album – I Feel When You Because – releasing on all major streaming platforms in the first week of December.
Formed in 2016, when singer/ songwriter Mal R and composer/producer Jon K released their debut song Today I am Prince, BPFO quickly followed up with first official single ‘It’s Her Kindness (that turns me on)’ which was played on BBC 6 Music and described as ‘classic songwriting’ by veteran presenter Tom Robinson.
Debut album Dressed in Birds was released in 2018, all about unrequited love and how the planet seems to be set on course for a downward spiral and tracks from the album have quickly garnered support from Lonely Oak Radio, Wolfman Radio, and Radio Candy amongst others
New album I Feel When You Because builds on the timeless songwriting of their debut but broadens the sound with a range of emotions on show, casting a light and shadow, through a range of piano and synth led songs.

London-based vocalist and songwriter, Mal R provides the vocals for Betty Pulls A Fast One. Mal has recorded with musicians in the UK, Argentina, Hungary and Spain and has appeared on Hungary’s national Petőfi TV.
Jon K also writes instrumental music under the name S.W.O.R.N
