Annapolis Singer-Songwriter Rises From The Ashes To Create Musical Magic

Still riding the high of a successful sold out EP Release show, Annapolis songbird Jennifer Schimpf is quickly making waves in the Maryland music scene. The recent release of her EP, “Static in the Attic” is now available on all streaming platforms. When asked about the inspiration behind it, she stated, “A lot of my songs are written quickly as a catharsis, and then build over time by adding other instruments and collaborating with the band.” The band, made up of herself, drummer Scott Baker and bassist Jimmy Mumper cohesively came together organically. Their sound formed as fast as their friendship and that connection emanates on stages across the state.

Songwriting came naturally and early, with Jennifer’s first full piano composition “The Storm’, being written and performed publicly at the age of 13. After a few years of battling lymes disease, Jennifer has metaphorically and physically risen from the Phoenix from the ashes and is ready to share her musical journey with the world. Thriving in both a solo or full band performance, Jennifer is an energetic force to be reckoned with.

Don’t miss your chance to catch this rising star live this spring/summer.
