John Kaye & The Overlords New “Active Rock” release, “Terminal Heat”, A Must Have For All Hard Rock Fans
(LA, California – September 2016) Recent Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, John Kaye in collaboration with The Overlords are pleased to announce their latest album; ‘Terminal Heat’ is now available for everyone. Featuring 12 tracks of searing original rock written by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alumni, John Kaye; this is not an album Rock & Roll and general music lovers can afford to miss. With twelve classic tracks all produced by John Huldt; a prestigious music director, John Kaye reminds us the essence behind his Rock & Roll hall of fame induction. Most of the tracks were based on the good and bad parts of a relationship, with lots of messages to pass across. “Is It The Shame?” , one of the best tracks on the album talks about women being abused in their relationships, and how they hold on. Another great track is “It Ain’t Love” which justifies the difference between love and lust – a very touchy subject banging Rock & Roll style. Born into a family of entertainment and Rock & Roll rock stars, it is not much of a surprise John’s music is so good. His Father, Aunt, and Uncle, started the Las Vegas Lounge Scene and are the highest paid lounge act in Las Vegas Casino History. His Aunt, Mary Kaye is the namesake of the Fender Guitar named the Mary Kaye Stratocaster. In the early 1950s at Las Vegas hotel Last Frontier Mary Kaye and her group famously pioneered all-night “lounge” club shows that were instrumental in turning the dusty Nevada gambling oasis into a 24-hour party town. Mary Kaye is also known as the “First Lady Of Rock & Roll” In relation to his Rock & Roll hall of fame induction, John’s career has been one filled with achievements and awards. He has been Voted “Best R&B Soul Artist Of The Year” in the 6th Annual Southern California SBMA Events. In 2013 and 2014, John Kaye received invitations to contend for “The Voice!” and “XFactor” respectively. Due to his wonderful work on John Kaye & Steppenwolf Tribute “Psychedelic Review” in SoCal , John was nominated for “Best Tribute Band Of The Year” in 2015. He has also played as an Acoustic Soloist extensively throughout So Cal. for 2015 while writing and recording demos for his debut release of “Terminal Heat”.
