“Though the story is timestamped to him, I’m not releasing this song projected at that one person specifically as I can connect my emotions and battle in letting go of my recent breakup as well, and the people in my early music career. It’s truly a story about the battle between mind, body, soul and heart when you know you need to release someone holding space in you, and the only person holding yourself back is yourself.”
