Tell us about your music.
“I’d be happy to share more about my music. My latest release, ‘Walk Away,’ is a primarily instrumental track inspired by house music. I had the pleasure of collaborating with an amazing producer from Germany, Daniel Schmitz, whose expertise helped shape the sound of the song. Interestingly, we decided to keep the demo vocals for ‘Walk Away’ because they were just too awesome to re-record. While my lyrics are primarily in English, I’ve toyed with the idea of exploring other languages like Spanish or German in the distant future.

Currently, my music is available on all major streaming platforms, with ‘Walk Away’ being the only official release so far. The music video for ‘Walk Away’ has even been nominated for the ‘Most Bizarre’ category at the BMVA awards, which is incredibly exciting.

My musical style tends to lean towards the melancholic side, but I’m always drawn to experimenting with new sounds and emotions. Although I haven’t performed at music festivals with this song yet, I’m hopeful to do so this summer. My music is often described as suitable for background listening, perfect for those moments when you just want to hit repeat and lose yourself in the melodies.

As for future plans, I’m constantly working on new music, whether it’s solo or in collaboration with other artists. While I enjoy producing my own music, I also value the creativity that comes from working within a team. Ultimately, my goal is to continue sharing my music with the world and hopefully connect with listeners on a deeper level through my songs.”

When did you start performing?
I always being drawn to the stage, my journey as a performer faced its share of challenges. In one notable instance, I participated in a talent show and, while I poured my heart into my performance, I ended up securing third place. However, this experience taught me valuable lessons about resilience, determination, and the importance of pushing forward despite setbacks. It fueled my drive to continually improve my craft and pursue my passion for music with even greater determination.

What do you consider to be your hometown and how does that affect your music?
When it comes to my hometown, it’s a bit complex due to my mixed upbringing. Being half Colombian and born in Argentina, I find that my Latin roots naturally find their way into my music, infusing it with vibrant rhythms and melodies.

Additionally, spending my childhood in Munich has left its mark on my musical journey. I was heavily influenced by the diverse music scene there, particularly by friends who introduced me to dance music and occasionally German rap.

Despite not drawing direct inspiration from Munich’s specific musical styles, I’ve found myself incorporating elements from my experiences there into my music, whether consciously or subconsciously.

While I love Christian music, it’s not necessarily something directly tied to my hometown’s influence but rather a personal passion.

Although I haven’t collaborated extensively with artists from Munich, I’ve had the opportunity to work with talents from Germany and England, which has enriched my musical perspective.

In terms of community support, Munich doesn’t stand out much, but in the UK, where I’ve also spent time, I’ve been fortunate to experience incredible support from the local music community.

I haven’t written any songs specifically about Munich or my experiences there, as my upbringing was rather chaotic, resulting in a diverse musical palette that doesn’t stick to one genre.

What performers have been your inspiration?
The Goo Goo Dolls’ heartfelt lyrics and versatile sound inspire my songwriting, while T.A.T.U.’s boldness and electronic edge fuel my creativity. Both bands push boundaries, teaching me to infuse authenticity and experimentation into my music.

What do you base your success on?
I base my success on how many people relate to my music. For me, the essence of music lies in its ability to connect with listeners on a personal level. When my songs resonate with people and evoke emotions or experiences that they can relate to, I consider that a true measure of success. It’s not just about chart positions or critical acclaim; it’s about touching hearts and making a meaningful impact through my music.

What was your latest musical release?
“Walk Away” is a poignant musical narrative that delves into the complex emotions surrounding themes of shattered dreams, toxic relationships, suicidal thoughts, and the profound impact of loss. As the title suggests, the song encapsulates the essence of stepping away from situations that weigh heavily on the soul, even if those situations were once cherished aspirations or relationships.
At its core, “Walk Away” reflects the struggle of abandoning dreams that may no longer align with reality. It explores the anguish of letting go of ambitions that once burned bright but have since dimmed under the weight of disappointment or unattainability. This aspect of the song speaks to the universal experience of grappling with the harsh realization that sometimes the paths we envisioned for ourselves diverge from the ones we ultimately traverse.
Moreover, “Walk Away” delves into the tumultuous terrain of toxic relationships, where the bonds that were meant to nurture and uplift instead become suffocating shackles. The song captures the internal conflict of wanting to break free from a harmful connection, yet feeling ensnared by the fear of loneliness or abandonment.
In its most somber moments, “Walk Away” confronts the harrowing specter of suicidal ideation, illuminating the profound darkness that can overshadow one’s mind in moments of despair. The lyrics poignantly express the crushing weight of hopelessness and the desperate longing for an escape from relentless emotional anguish.
Additionally, the song grapples with the devastating aftermath of loss, with poignant references to the passing of a loved one. This theme adds another layer of depth to the narrative, underscoring the profound impact of mortality on the human experience and the enduring ache of grief.
Through its evocative lyrics and haunting melody, “Walk Away” invites listeners to confront the raw and unfiltered emotions that accompany life’s most challenging moments. It serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of self-reflection and healing.
