‘Good to See You’ is a refreshing new entry in the impressive discography Henry Taylor has established over the years
Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada — Having spent years in the music industry, showing integrity and utter devotion to his craft, it is finally time for Henry Taylor to enjoy the spotlight he so rightfully deserves. His latest album, titled ‘Good to See You’ was released on Friday, May 27th, 2022, and respected music critics have already taken notice.
Over the years, Henry Taylor has crafted a unique niche in his artistry, something he has managed to do by writing songs, performing, and releasing records since 1998. With 5 successful studio albums in the bag, it is now time for him to be his unapologetic self as an artist and bask in the glory of his latest release.
‘Good to See You’ is the first album of songs written entirely with his songwriting partner and long-time collaborator – Monique Montgomery. Inspired by great songwriters like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Bruce Springsteen both Henry and Monique aspire to the songwriting heights of contemporary artists such as Gary Louris of The Jayhawks, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and Canadian artists Blue Rodeo and Matt Mays.
Like any artist on the brink of greatness, Henry Taylor acknowledges the magnitude his platform as an artist holds, which is why he is so aware of his responsibility as a person with influence. His songs are both timely and timeless, and resonate with perspective, depth, and an easy complexity.
