New York, NY – March 10th, 2021 – Celebrated flute soloist Ransom Wilson and prizewinning French pianist François Dumont have teamed up again with electrifying results.  “In the Age of Debussy” by the duo – released on 15th January 2021 – represents them at their very best, in a program of music by Debussy and his contemporaries.

Strong believers in the power of music to teleport listeners to another dimension, the duo dazzles in its approach to this sensual and viscerally exciting music. Their new release marks the second collaboration of the duo, after “In the Age of Ravel”, which featured music by Maurice Ravel and his friends.  Pianist Dumont’s initial solo recordings, the “Complete Mozart Sonatas- Anima Records” and the Chopin album “Artalinna”  were both met with unusual acclaim and praise.  He also recently received the “Maestro” award of “Pianiste” magazine.  Ransom Wilson is one of the most celebrated flutists of his generation.  An artist of New York’s  Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, he plays extensively, all over the globe.

With their newest CD, Dumont and Wilson are already receiving critical and popular acclaim, as they continue to delight  with their loving tribute to France’s greatest composers.  Their colorful, virtuosic and transparent approach is unique, and appeals to listeners of all ages.
