After a hard and struggling year for everyone, Raff Pylon warms our winter up this year with his upcoming yule melody ‘Christmas in California’, featuring west coast rapper and ‘iconic figure’ Snoop Dogg.
Raff Pylon captures R&B inspiration intertwined with soft electric beats and a gentle Christmas chime obtained in the background. Long behold Snoop Dogg featured in the melody, that at first was added as an experiment to the track in the studio with Raff Pylon and Grammy-Award winning producer Earl Powell. It was then decided to properly mix in Snoop’s element after he agreed to be involved in the Christmas magic. This track invites optimism for this Christmas, visualising a perfect Calfornian city-like Christmas, perfect to spend with your loved ones.
“Christmas is always an important part of most people’s lives. There are so many memories and traditions attached to it. But one of the biggest and most important meanings to Christmas is love. I felt like portrating that feeling in this song, and also about spending Christmas in California.” – Raff Pylon
Over the past months Raff has produced covers from his home studio, which were presented online as a series called “Piano Sessions”, that included many collaborations with other participants of The Voice. Raff, alongside multi-platinum, award-winning producer/songwriter Rob Wells (produced for Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, the Backstreet Boys and many more) and Grammy-Award winning producer Earl Powell.
Along with his last single “King’s Lane”, Raff Pylon has also started The Million Roses Fundraiser, an initiative in partnership with Amnesty International Montreal. All funds collected by the Million Roses Fundraiser will be given to Amnesty International, a frontline non-profit organization defending human rights since 1961, and will be used to create a sensitization campaign about systemic racism in Canada.
King’s Lane (Million Roses) is Raff Pylon’s most recent single in collaboration with Tito Jackson, in which they share a message of unity and peace to bring people together in a period of protests against racism.
