Self-made music artist and songwriter Sarah Mae Chilton releases her second single, “Wishing Well.” as a prelude to her EP “Southern Glitter Pop.” Sarah Mae Chilton plays at The World Famous HonkyTonk, “Tootsies,” which is the only honkytonk to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Her producer, John Willis, has been a supporting musician on albums by Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, and Willie Nelson, and many others. She has a degree in music and anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and says she is getting her “Phd in Pop Artistry,” as she is building her career in Nashville.
“Wishing Well,” tells the story of a girl who wishes for her dream man… only to find out he is more than she bargained for. “Be careful what you wish for,” is the main theme of this southern, pop narrative.
