Thank you for taking the time to have this interview with IMAAI.
Tell us about your music.
My music is a descriptive illustration of the mindset that was bred upon young impressionable youth of the past to breed within the young minds of the present and future for the simple intent to destroy the minds of a particular group of for the economic benefit for another group of people which has left a bloody trail of tears and destruction all for the gratification of self, the lower self and I come to demonstrate it with a healing power of truth and love within the principle of my music.

When did you start performing?
My first performance ever was in 2019. I went to Atlanta by myself and performed at Pal’s lounge open mic night. After I came home from prison in 2017 with this vision and dream for 2 years all responses to what I was attempting was of a negative point of view and since I had actually never performed except on lock up rapping behind my cell door, I had to know if I could actually perform so I did, and once that became a reality I knew only I could stop me so I uploaded it to you tube back in 2019.

What do you consider to be your hometown and how does that affect your music?
I am from Washington DC born at Providence hospital and grew up on 51st & Drake PL, next to East Gate a project type neighborhood. My music is a direct and personal reflection of the life of a young soldier, turned, drug addict, convict and all that entails with that lifestyle that my music illustrates from the perspective of a SE mindset to a Moorish mindset.

What performers have been your inspiration?
Tupac, Willie D, & DMX was my inspiration in style as they were the rappers I listened to and the content and context of their lyrical structures gave guidance to mines as I wrote out the complexities of my mind’s insanity in a comprehensive and sane texture of truth, realism, remorse & regret.

What do you base your success on?
I have been home 7 years from prison now, dreaming the dream of dreamers while living in the vision with the success of being able to reverence in the moments of living the vision instead of just the dream in a cell block. Though success is judged by some others in the form of monies and things, I have found great success in just having the opportunity to do my music freely and on my own and I trust my perseverance will manifest the continued blessings of sincerity.

What was your latest musical release?
My latest release is a song titled, niggas dead. It is a direct dedication to all those lost to the war that was posed on the inner city youth by the implementation of the drug war.
A lot of those who have died from my city DC that I have personal friendships & acquaintances with, or family members or loved ones are highlighted in this song for dedication purposes only. No clout, no cap.

Do you have any news to share?
Yes, I am a Moorish Moslem Master Scientist who was born in America but knows that I am not Negro, Black Colored or Ethiopian. I am Asiatic in race and Moorish-American in nationality and my intent is to assist in the upliftment of fallen humanity by teaching man the truth about man through the lessons of the Moorish Holy Prophet, Noble Drew Ali.

Lastly, please share some final words with the fans.

When man realizes he is the creator of his own existence & experience here in what we call life, then maybe life created by man can begin a new creation. One of love, peace & harmony; instead kaos, destruction & confusion. Only love can conquer hate and the conflict cannot be told in words only demonstrated from the spirit through the flesh.
“Allah talks to man through man”… Moorish Holy Koran.
