Beats y Batería, a dynamic modern global music trio from Chicago, released their first full length album “Migratum.” This album marks the first release for Stolen Mask Records, a new global independent label based in Chicago. “Migrated” in Latin, is a story of what happens every day in Chicago when cultures collide and create new and beautiful things. The record migrates through sound, language and beats to give the listener a true global sonic journey. The trio consists of Cuban producer Afroqbano, Moldovan ethno jazz singer Ana Everling and drummer Daniel Crane. “Migratum” expands upon the foundation laid by their previous EP, offering a mesmerizing blend of traditional Afro-Latino and Romanian beats infused with modern neo-electronic sounds.
