There is a figure at the beginning of the video who represents my boyfriend, and then it ends. It goes through the process of being with him and leaving, then walking through the city, wishing you were strangers and feeling completely empowered.”

I’ve always had this thing about love letters – when I was younger and got upset, I would write letters and never send them. It’s how you get your feelings out.”
