La Cassandra, a Dominican-American singer-songwriter brings us a sound that goes back to her Caribbean roots as she sings her story through compelling melodies and sensational performances. In 2023, La Cassandra released her debut album Lágrimas, a dynamic Latin Pop album recorded live in Havana, Cuba. Since her professional debut, La Cassandra is found to be a colorful breath of fresh air on the scene. Having had features with Billboard Latín, Tidal, People en Español, Despierta America, and more, La Cassandra’s warm and bubbly personality is said to be captivating and refreshing. In addition to momentous traction in her career as a singer-songwriter, La Cassandra has established a strong and engaged fan base. Listening to bolero, bachata, and Latin folklore growing up, La Cassandra’s wide array of influences include Celia Cruz, Juan Gabriel, Gloria Estefan, Juan Luis Guerra, and Sade. These influences drive her ability to fuse the classic and timeless with a new, reinterpretation of tropical folklore with a modern twist creating her unique signature sound.
