Portland Oregon based alt-folk singer-songwriter Ky Burt has just released his debut EP “The Moon & The Sea”(Release date: Oct. 4th 2016). The EP was recorded at Portland’s renowned Fluff and Gravy Records with a stellar cast of Northwest musicians. A multi-instrumentalist (acoustic and electric guitar, five-string banjo) with influences spanning from old-time and bluegrass to indie rock and avant-garde folk , Burt pulls inspiration from a wide vocabulary of American root forms to create a sound full of stunning imagery and melodic depth.
