Tell us what has been your favorite cheat food in quarantine?
I’ve been trying to stay as healthy as possible with snacks like Apples and Peanut Butter, but recently the Oreos and Milk combo has been hitting hard in the studio lately!
Any exiting news you want to share with us?
When this quarantine started about 2 months ago I was in the middle of working on my new EP with my team, and as of yesterday, we’re back in the studio working together so now I’ll have new music coming to y’all soon!!
Any loves other than music?
My whole life I’ve always had a love for sports, I played basketball and baseball ever since I could remember! Anytime I’m on tour, you can always catch me shooting hoops somewhere.. Also I love anything outdoors, love hunting and fishing, just anything that keeps me active really!
Do you ever get nervous before you play music live?
Always! I call it the first song jitters! I like having the first song in my set a high energy song, that way by the second song, all my nerves are settled and I can really focus on the show and the crowd.
What is your next goal as a musician?
I would love to start working with a label, that way I can start opening for some bigger acts and get my name out there! Also becoming a published writer would be up there too, so I can start writing for bigger acts as well!
What is you favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
I’m all over the place honestly… One day I’ll be jamming to “walk this way” by Aerosmith, the next day I’m bumping “Toosie Slide” by Drake! So I’d say a little blend of everything!
Name one your strengths?
I’d say working well under negativity and pressure.. Many people like to get compliments or have encouragement while they’re trying to achieve something, but in the industry I’m in, 9 times out of 10 you hear the word “no” before you hear the word “yes”… So I feel like through the years of trying to establish myself in this industry, I’ve developed this thick skin to be able to keep the faith and work through the negativity that surrounds this business!
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being in a position to happily and comfortably help other people in a major way! Getting to a point where you can finally help people in ways you’ve always wanted to because you’re career and life are in the perfect position to now! That’s happiness to me for sure! 10 times over!
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully being a part of a label on a huge tour with a supporting act, traveling the world making music! Then coming back home and starting a little family of my own to share this life with!
How would you describe your fashion style?
Just like what I listen to in my car, ALL OVER THE PLACE! One day I’m rockin some jeans and boots looking like an Allen Jackson wannabe, the next day I’m wearing some ball shorts and a t-shirt looking like Steph Curry! It’s completely random at the moment!
