Stafford Springs, Connecticut– December 12, 2021- Reaching out to the recovery communities throughout the world, Selfish Steam are an all-original band who is sending ripples in the musical industry. Penning down their inspirational stories about overcoming trials and tribulations, dealing with addiction and their journey through recovery, Selfish Steam aims to reach as many people as they can.

Touching hearts and minds with their momentous musical compositions, Selfish Steam hope to enlighten the younger generations of the many wrong decisions they themselves made in their lives which led to internment, institutionalization and near death.

Considering music to be an effective universal communication tool, the dynamic collective hopes to spread awareness among the younger generation, regarding issues such as underage drinking. The group channels their own learning from experiences of alcohol and drug abuse, using their musical talents to advocate for the right thing.

Captivating audiences with a range of musical styles and rhythms, the group weaves together heartfelt ballads and upbeat Rock tunes. For their efforts to inspire change, Selfish Steam has already been met with accolades and praise from both the younger and older generation.

Using their power of music to support recovery from alcoholism and addiction, Selfish Steam hopes to unveil their collection of tracks on January 17, 2022, with the aim of bringing about change within the world.

“To be able to touch people with our music and see the response in their eyes is the greatest gift we could ask for. Whenever we play, we say if we reach just one person then it was all worth it,” says the group regarding their new music.

About

Selfish Steam is a dynamic multi-genre band, based out of Hartford, Connecticut. Touted as a group of “Friends in Recovery with Music that Touches the Soul”, Selfish Steam was founded by Tony Marossie, through the help of a 12-step program, who started writing music about his life experiences.
