It’s about finding salvation in a specific human being. Angel was written about someone specific in my life. Kallie has not only been a source of grace and salvation in my life, but also someone I realized was my future. As the song says, she saved me. I was truly crumbling and lost when she reached out her hand to me like an angel.”
