Dane Louis gives a rugged look into how a hard night of drinking can end in “Whiskey Wears Off”. Because of his outlaw drifter looks, and his uncut gravelly voice, Dane stands out among other artists. With influences like Whiskey Myers and Eric Church, his country foundation and subtle rock accents blend together smoother than whiskey and coke.
In ‘Music City Melodies’ Dane is quoted saying “‘Whiskey Wears Off’ is one of the most honest songs about those wild nights out drinking where you wake up in the morning and start trying to validate your actions from the night before.” Dane holds nothing back in his new song wearing his emotions on his sleeve, right above the bottle of whiskey clutched in his hand.
Dane dives deep with his descriptions of two whiskey drunk lovers who realize their true feelings were covered by a blanket of bourbon. Inebriated feelings and sober thoughts don’t mix well in this edgy country single. One thing’s for sure, you will be in love with this song, even when the whiskey wears off.

Tell us about your latest single, “Defeat.” What should listeners expect from it?”Defeat” is the centerpiece of “Songs for the Fall of an Empire.” A rock opera about the history of debt I’ve been working on since 2009. Its a big multimedia endeavour.
