WAPX-FM, Magic 91.9 MHz, is Austin Peay State University's noncommercial radio station and broadcast service of the Department of Communication. The station is managed by David von Palko, J.D., an award-winning news broadcaster with commercial radio experience. WAPX-FM is affiliated with NBS-AERho, the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters, and The Broadcast Education Association. Magic 91.9 operates 24/7 with public affairs, news, sports and music programming serving the Clarksville-Montgomery County community. Austin Peay State University students work on-air and complete audio production assignments for public service and promotional announcements on the station.
