KNWD 91.7FM The Demon is an independent, student-run, non-commercial radio station. It is ran by dedicated Northwestern State University students with a passion for music, entertainment, and student media. KNWD includes a music and programing department (knwdmusic@gmail.com), public relations, (knwdpublicrelations@gmail.com), news and broadcasting (knwdnews@gmail.com), and sports broadcasting (knwdsports@gmail.com). KNWD offers scholarship opportunities to staff members by a semester basis. Applications open for each Fall/Spring semester.
