George’s in Brockton is now the home of Thump & Soul Thursdays, featuring The MIXER with the maestro, The ZYG 808 every 1st, 2nd, and 4th Thursday at 8:30 pm, bring the best of Afrobeat, House Music, Rare Groove, and Nu-Jazz to the people with performances by special guest artists. The SUPPER CLUB occurs on every 3rd Thursday, featuring live jazz and soul by Grammy nominated band, The GroovaLottos, and the sumptuous menu of George’s kitchen. Doors open at George’s at 5PM and the THUMP & SOUL festivities stat at 7PM.
THUMP & SOUL is the term for the cross-genre styles of music coming out of Polyphonic Studios, and THUMP & SOUL THURSDAYS is a collaboration between Song Keepers, LTD, a non-profit arts, education, and economic development organization, Polyphonic Studios, and George’s, as a venue central to the community.
