YOSUÉ

Raised in Harlem, NY, Yosué developed his love for hip-hop during his childhood years, listening to a diverse array of rappers and genres. His musical journey began at the age of 11. During his first year of high school, through the music program, he discovered music production in the only room within the music class that had a Mac and Logic Pro. He continued to craft his sound and image through a series of local mixtapes and word-of-mouth promotion.

During his teenage years, Yosué expanded his skills by recording his music videos and posting them on YouTube. However, various challenges during his young adult years prevented him from focusing on music. After college, he launched his creative agency, which he hoped would fund his music career.

Fast forward to 2024, Yosué redesigned his image and stage name, applying all he had learned to finally work on his first EP after many years of silence. Feeling more renewed than ever, he began his most recent body of work in Miami and New York. The EP, scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2025, is produced by Yosué himself and Omen. He is eager to publish a full project and continue to evolve, offering a new look and fresh perspectives.

Yosué’s music offers a blend of New York sound with his unique production style. His lyrics provide depth and clarity, good vibes, and an impactful approach to his art. His first single, “So Help Me God,” is a powerful song that confronts uncomfortable truths about the nation, exposing the disillusionment and loss of direction in the aftermath of a controversial election. The lyrics touch on themes of resilience, self-discovery, and a commitment to unity, urging listeners to break free from societal expectations and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. With a blend of social commentary and personal empowerment, Yosué challenges the status quo, declaring a collective responsibility to overcome adversity and build a better future.
