Damndest, a new indie band with shades of new wave, post punk and shoegaze, is thrilled to announce the release of their third single, “My Heaven”. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp on 08/23/2024.
“My Heaven” is what we would imagine the Smiths would have sounded like if they were a new wave band. A story of unrequited love that will make you smile and dance the night away as vocalist Michael Taggart tells you he is “on his way to madness, drenched in sadness”. Damndest formed in Boston MA in 2023 and released their first single “Behind” in May 2024. Members Tim O’Keefe and Michael Taggart have amassed an arsenal of songs they will be releasing over the next year accompanied by music videos.
