Baker Grace, the rising pop sensation, has released her highly anticipated new single, “Painkiller,” following the success of her hit track, “American Dream Girl.” This latest release is now available worldwide, and it’s already making waves in the music industry.
In 2019, Baker Grace introduced herself to the world with her debut EP, “Girl I Know,” showcasing her undeniable confidence as an artist. With each new release, she pushes the boundaries of pop music while displaying a higher level of musicianship and introspection. At just 23 years old, this singer-songwriter from Weehawken, NJ, is carving out her unique place in the music scene. Her sophomore EP, “Yourz Truly,” offered a deeper glimpse into her inner world and personal philosophies, sharing her story with a mix of boldness and dreamy sensitivity. Each song from the EP represents either a letter to herself or someone else.
Following “Yourz Truly,” Baker Grace collaborated with rising star Cautious Clay, Grammy-nominated producer Scott Harris (known for his work with Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Dua Lipa, Chance The Rapper, Kygo), and Mexican pop singer-songwriter Charlie Rodd. She continued to release a series of singles in 2021, including the soundtrack for the feature film “Last Survivors,” starring Alicia Silverstone. The film’s soundtrack, featuring the breakout track “Lullaby,” topped the charts on Hulu.
Baker Grace splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles, and in 2022, she treated her fans to more singles, including “Shake The Earth” and “Pressure.” Additionally, she collaborated with Sabino on the song “Little Magic,” complemented by stunning music videos.
About her latest single, “Painkiller,” Baker Grace shares her inspiration: “I wrote ‘Painkiller’ after experiencing nightlife in NYC for the first time. I was going out to places where people were spending a fortune on a single bottle of alcohol, while I was attending yoga, therapy, and meditation classes, learning the importance of cultivating love and happiness from within. The stark contrast fascinated me. It reinforced the idea that the true painkiller in life is finding peace in your mind. Being present, loving and accepting yourself, and practicing gratitude are worth more than gold in my humble opinion. In ‘Painkiller,’ I personify happiness in its most genuine form, and it is sensual, sexy, and brimming with confidence.”
