Tell us about your music.
I have released two videos to date. My first released video is entitled ‘The New Age’ which poetically conveys how I perceive the ever changing new age as time goes by combined with recorded motion images of myself and other motion graphic images along with background instrumental music. My second released video is entitled ‘FIRE’ which poetically conveys how the element of Fire functions and how humans experience it combined with recorded motion images of myself and Fires burning along with background instrumental music. I am currently in the process of producing another video which am hoping to release in the near future.
When did you start performing?
I am a spoken word artist from Jamaica W.I. who began performance in audio visual videos as of February 2023 on Vevo channel(@lorimmervevo3908 via YouTube). Initially, I started out as a poetry writer and was told by many individuals that I have I am a talented writer and then eventually decided to become a spoken word artist by verbally conveying my composed poems along with complementary imagery and melody to intentionally inspire others.
What do you consider to be your hometown and how does that affect your music?
My hometown is Kingston, Jamaica W.I. but I lived in other countries while growing up so I have had a diverse range of experiences.
What performers have been your inspiration?
Sage Francis(American) AND Swollen Members(Canadian band) mainly because they are very poetic and convey real world case scenarios.
What do you base your success on?
By pleasing viewers/listeners of my video content because my performances are for their entertainment.
What was your latest musical release?
My video entitled FIRE which is based on my composed poem ‘FIRE’ which was highly rated by many readers.
Do you have any news to share?
I am working on my next video to be released which is based on my composed poem entitled ‘Destiny’.
