Cover versions, in Allegra’s own words, give her the space to develop and hone her technique and performance whilst writing her own material on the side. During lockdown, Allegra has had the opportunity to craft a (socially distanced) imaginative cover of ‘Physical’, the track made famous by Dua Lipa.
Utilising synth keyboards and electronic cellos as well as backing vocals, Allegra performs the track lit by neon lights and facing up to the camera with a confidence beyond her years – one which is no doubt improved by her reworkings of covers which build upon the raw talent she already has.
