Emily E. Finke, 20 year old musical and creative extraordinaire, has a lifetime of accomplishments behind her with endless possibilities and adventures ahead of her. Since starting in music at just 6 years old, the world of creativity has been Emily’s life. Growing up being homeschooled allowed Emily the opportunity to explore and pursue her passions in creativity and afforded her such opportunities as learning 3 instruments, starting a small business at age 10, performing professionally at age 12, competing in and winning talent competitions, speaking publicly, and studying opera all before graduating high-school. Since high-school, Emily has continued to chase her dreams, running full-speed through the doors God has opened for her. From performing at Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House to writing, recording, and producing original music in just the last 2 years, Emily is on track to leave a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.
A Creative Entrepreneur, Emily’s many talents include singing, playing multiple instruments, composing, arranging, acting, modeling, writing, directing, and more. Inspired by her Christian faith, classical training, and love of music from the 1900s-1960s, Emily is dedicated to her art and expressing herself through creativity while not letting the world’s and industry’s standards define her or her music. It could be said that Emily possesses a gift comparable to Glenn Miller, an industriousness similar to George M. Cohan, a personality akin to Audrey Hepburn, and a vision much like Walt Disney. Emily’s timeless sound, prodigious passion, and amazing gift for connecting with her fans are just a few of many reasons why Emily and her music are sure to leave you speechless.
Emily firmly believes that her many talents are a blessing and gift from God and, as such, are unequivocally dedicated to Him. Her whole life, Emily has felt called to be a revolutionary, to blaze a trail unlike any before. To Emily, success is not measured in wealth or fame, but in the opportunities she has been given to share her gifts and inspire others. Emily’s newest song combines the best of classical, art, and pop music in her use of poetic lyrics, musical arrangement for string quintet and piano, and rich, mezzo-soprano voice. “Marigolds” is the poetic telling of a story of love and loss. Its haunting melody and melancholy lyrics plead for the memories of love once known to not be forgotten.
