Saudy Familia announces the release of his new single “Only You and Me”
(7/15/2020 — New York, NY) Saudy Familia announces the release of his new single “Only You and Me”. This is Familia’s first Salsa composition and the upbeat song tells a story in which one meets the love of their life and takes the listener on a journey to asking the person they are destined to be with, out and start a romance.
“Only You and Me” was written, composed, and arranged by Familia and features the voice of Rose Stoller. The new single is set to be released on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at 12AM EST and can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and Amazon Music.
This is Familia’s second single, after releasing his first single in 2015 titled “The One I Want”, a Latin Jazz/Salsa infused composition. In 2016, he released his first full-length album titled “Someone to Hold”, composed and arranged by him. “Only You and Me”, along with his other songs, are reminders for newer generations that music is in their blood. He blends elements of R&B, Salsa, Soul and Latin Jazz to create his unique sound. He hopes to attract young American and Latino audiences to the rhythms and sounds of the Caribbean that are found in his music.

About Saudy Familia
Saudy Familia is a Dominican-born composer, songwriter and drummer based in New York City. His passion for music emerged at the young age of four-years-old through singing and being taught how to play the piano by his father in the Dominican Republic. After his family immigrated to New York City in 2003, he was able to elevate himself as a musician by attending Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (WHEELS) and was able to become a Jazz and Latin Jazz drummer. His music is influenced by Brian McKnight and Marc Anthony, who later stood out to Familia as he would go study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music as a Composer and Arranger.
