Those Darlins cover title track Repo Man
August 21, 2012 – American Laundromat Records releases exclusive iTunes advance single from their upcoming Repo Man Soundtrack Tribute. Those Darlins cover Repo Man which was written and originally performed by Iggy Pop for the cult 1984 film. Those Darlins recorded their cover with Ed Rawls and Justin McNeight at The Living Room in Atlanta, GA where they recorded their latest full length release Screws Get Loose.

ABOUT A TRIBUTE TO REPO MAN
American Laundromat Records had a blast working on a tribute to one of their favorite flicks of all time – the 1984 cult classic “Repo Man” written & directed by Alex Cox and starring Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez. The original soundtrack celebrated the southern California punk movement of the late 70’s/early 80’s with bands Black Flag, Circle Jerks,Suicidal Tendencies, The Plugz, and Iggy Pop. American Laundromat Records recruited an outstanding group of artists to rewire these now-classic punk tracks, including; Those Darlins, Matthew Sweet, Amanda Palmer, Mike Watt, The Tellers, Black Francis, Weekend,Polar Bear Club, Moses Coltrane, New York Rivals, and The Suicide Dolls. The album officially releases September 18, 2012.
