Jeffrey Chan
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, singer/songwriter Jeffrey Chan was first drawn to music at a young age when he began taking classical piano lessons. Though it wasn’t until later where he discovered his passion for singing and songwriting; where he began to incorporate his piano skills into his love of contemporary pop music.
His debut album ‘Spectrum’ (released in July 2016) explores the multi-faceted nature of love and relationships against an electronic dance-driven sound scape. Called a “well put together and unequivocally pop/dance album” (Jamie Funk, Divide & Conquer), the album draws from influences from his contemporaries as well as incorporating elements of 80’s music and funk.
2017 marked Jeffrey’s first shows abroad, playing in both LA and New York at iconic venues such as The Bitter End. ‘Porsche’ feat rapper Skam ‘R Tist (released in November 2017), is the lead single from his upcoming sophomore record ‘FaultLine’, followed by ‘Breathe Heavy’, a retro tinged pop track as the second single; with the music video paying homage to pop culture from the 80’s-90’s. Both tracks saw success with media attention from several online publications and independent radio stations.
‘FaultLine’ is set to be Jeffrey’s most exciting release to date, collaborating with the likes of Julian Lowe (Sugababes, Janet Jackson, Robbie Williams), David Mohacsi (Three Days Grace, Hoobastank), any many more. With a scheduled release date of 31st August 2018, ‘FaultLine’ is an adventure into new sounds, themes, and visuals (with a music video for all 10 tracks set to be released upon roll out of the album).
