‘FaultLine’ ventures into new sounds as Jeffrey Chan releases sophomore album
Sydney, Australia (August 20, 2018) – Jeffrey Chan is set to release his sophomore record ‘FaultLine’ on August 31st 2018 on all digital streaming platforms and online retailers.
Preceded by the release and success of ‘Porsche’ and ‘Breathe Heavy’ as the lead singles,’FaultLine’ is an adventure into new sounds, themes, and visuals, as the album blends retro, funk, pop, and hip-hop elements. Having worked on ‘FaultLine’ for almost two years (working in and collaborating with creatives in London, New York and Sydney), the album is diverse in it’s sounds, though Jeffrey remains front and centre; writing, recording, and producing the album.
‘FaultLine’ is packed with catchy melodies and memorable lyrics, which is set against an electronic, synth-pop, guitar driven backdrop. Mastered by Julian Lowe (Sugababes, Cher, Robbie Williams), ‘FaultLine’ sees Jeffrey working together with a select group of creatives, such as New York based rapper Skam R’Tist on Porsche, in order to create the perfect follow up to his debut album ‘Spectrum’. With visuals to be released for all 10 tracks of the album, ‘FaultLine’ is set to be Jeffrey’s best work to date.
To accompany the release of ‘FaultLine’, Jeffrey will play an intimate special album launch show in Sydney on September 29th at Brighton Up Bar.
