MichaelStar’s New Reggae Single “Jamaica Song”
Atlanta, GA, April 1, 2017: R&B/pop artist Michaelstar dances his way into the reggae genre with his new single “Jamaica.” It will be the first single released off his new upcoming project. The inspiration for his latest track was to dedicate and show love to the country of his origin, Jamaica. Michaelstar stated that when he heard the song “Kansas City” he immediately was drawn to the Fats Domino track and true to his creative nature decided to add the reggae vibe and the “Jamaica song” was born.
Michaelstar (Michael Theo Johnson) is an R&B/Pop artist from Atlanta, GA. He is not only a musician, but a songwriter, actor, dancer, and anti-bullying advocated and entrepreneur. He gets his inspiration from his father, Mikey Spice, a well-known reggae artist in Jamaica, Usher, Chris Brown, Bobby Brown and The Temptations. Michaelstar’s voice has been compared to Stevie Wonder or a smooth tenor like Charlie Wilson, and Chris Brown.
