Sad Little Men – I’ll Be The Octopus

Based in Portland, Or, Sad Little Men is the explosive duo of drummer Justin Roberts and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Dusty York. After spending many years as a jazz saxophonist and record label owner, York abruptly abandoned both saxophone and jazz to dive into a whole new genre and set of instruments. After a two year hiatus from recording and performance, York teamed up with Roberts, who relocated recently to Portland from Whittier, CA, and they quickly put together their debut album ‘I’ll Be The Octopus’. The duo will take their distinctive and energetic sound out on the road in 2012, as well as begin work on their second album.
