Music & Arts, Other Top Music Companies, and Area Businesses Host “Battle of the Bands” July 21

Nine bands from across the country will compete for grand prizes and championship title:

Well-known national music companies, Music & Arts, Woodwind & Brasswind, and Fender, will partner with local businesses, Flying Dog Brewery and Champion Billiards Sports Bar, to host the 2nd annual Battle of the Bands competition on July 21 in Frederick, MD. “As the largest school instrument retailer and music lesson provider in the country, we started this competition to not only showcase new talent, but to reflect our passion and knowledge of music,” said Renier Fee, director of marketing, Music & Arts. The competition will feature 9 bands from across the country playing in a range of genres. Competing bands will be flown in to compete for the championship title and grand prizes.
