Dancehall Reggae Artist Trabass Releases His Best EP “1989”

In 2016 Trabass smashed the Reggae Billboard charts with his “Trabulation” EP. Now the popular Jamaican entertainer who has Millions of followers and over 160 Million YouTube views, is aiming for the Billboard charts once again. And if you ask his record label team; MVB Records, they’ll quickly let you know that Trabass’s new “1989” EP is the best Dancehall Reggae release of 2022.

“1989” has guest appearances by up-and-coming Dancehall artists like Shaneil Muir, Lincoln 3Dot, and many more. At just under 15 minutes the six song EP can be played straight through without skipping, because every song has the potential to be a hit single. Once listeners press play, the first track “Dem Nuh Real”; which features Shaneil Muir, will instantly let listeners know that Trabass is setting the bar high for this project.

The title of the EP, “1989”, is actually the birth year of Andrew “Trabass” Chambers, and what’s also interesting, is that in the Chinese Zodiac, 1989 is the year of the snake, and the cover artwork for the EP is creatively designed with snakes.

After revisiting Trabass’s Billboard chart topping “Trabulation” EP, and then listening to his newest effort; “1989”, we can honestly say that the “1989” EP has much better songs that will have listeners pressing rewind.
