British Singer-Songwriter Sasha Siem Makes Her Performing Debut At The Fashion Media Awards
London born singer Sasha Siem has officially made her American performance debut at the Fashion Media Awards, held overnight on September 5th at New York’s glamorous The Rainbow Room in the storied Rockefeller Centre. As well as taking to the stage to sing, Siem was also presented with the very first New Wave award.
The unofficial kick-off to New York Fashion Week, the FMA’s this year saw Siem take to the stage to perform a song from her upcoming album, three singles from which have already been released and globally watched by millions of people on digital and social media platforms.
During the star-studded awards ceremony which was also attended by big names from long-time model Kate Moss to British Vogue Editor Edward Enninful, Sasha was also honoured as 2019’s New Wave artist of the year. Talking shortly after receiving the newly introduced award, Siem says “I’m so deeply humbled to be the ‘New Wave’ artist of the year, and to be included with such an amazing group of talents and legends.”
With Siem’s three singles released this year alongside her success at this year’s FMA awards, this has helped Sasha Siem generate an international support system. Plus with her next album on the horizon, her ever-growing global fanbase will be there to support this next step in the successful career of Sasha Siem.
